REUNION VILLAGE

Since 1965, the Charles River has welcomed a breadth of competitors from far and near to participate in the world's largest two day regatta. But the fun isn't limited to competitors - there are many opportunities for spectators to share in the weekend's racing and festivities.

REUNION VILLAGE UPDATE 7/24/08: The 2008 Reunion Village is sold-out. If you are interested in participating in 2009 or in sharing a tent with an institution or an alumni group that has already registered, please contact regatta@hocr.org.

Whether you're a spectator, a competitor, or simply in need of refreshment, be sure to check out the 6th annual 2008 Reunion Village at the Head Of The Charles Regatta. The Village offers a fun and relaxed atmosphere located at the halfway point in the race on the Boston side of the Charles River.

Reunion Village Hours:
Saturday: 8AM - 5PM
Sunday: 8AM - 4PM*
*Please note: hours are subject to change for 2008 regatta.

Everyone is welcome at the Village. Clubs, schools, alumni groups, parents, boosters and travel groups are all urged to visit! A $1 donation per person will be charged at the entrance of the Village for unlimited day access, and all proceeds will benefit the Regatta's official charities.

The Reunion Village is within walking distance to Harvard and to public transport. The Reunion Village is also the only on-site location where it is legally permissible to serve beer and wine.

We do ask that all alcoholic beverages and food warming devices be left at home (personal food and non-alcoholic beverages are permitted).

The 2008 Reunion Village is now full however you may register online if you would like to be placed on the waitlist: Reunion Village Waitlist.

Register by July 31, 2008 and receive a $50 discount!

    Tent Options:
  1. 10' by 20' tent and 7 free parking passes: $600
  2. Shared 10' by 20' tent and 9 free parking passes: $900

Location: The Village is located on the Boston side of the Charles River between the Weeks and Anderson Bridges. Positioned at the halfway point in the races, it's one of the river's BEST viewing sites! It is a controlled access enclosure within walking distance to Harvard Square and public transport. It is also directly across the river from our sponsor displays.

Concessions: Breakfast, lunch, and refreshments (including beer and wine) are available in a centrally located 50' by 50' dining tent, or bring your own food, but please do not bring your own alcohol. Fires, grills, or other flammable equipment are not permitted.

Catering: Available upon request (please check for updates)

Parking: Parking passes will allow admission to the Harvard Business School parking lot, providing easy access to the Village.
