Thank you for your interest in volunteering to make this year’s Head Of The Charles® a success! The 44th Head Of The Charles Regatta will take place on Saturday, October 18 and Sunday, October 19, 2008. There are many opportunities to get involved over race weekend and before.

On the Volunteer Sign-Up form you will find many Committees, all looking for different skills. Please take a couple of minutes to read about each committee before applying. While the committees are grouped according to a volunteers’ racing/rowing experience, these are only suggestions. Please look at all the committee descriptions to find the one that best matches your abilities!

Start
FALS = Finish Area Launch Site. This site is where all the trailers carrying eights and fours will park and launch from. The Rowing and Fitness Expo and Registration will also be located in this area.
SADL = Singles and Doubles Launch site. Smaller boats will launch from Magazine Beach.
All volunteers will be required to complete a waiver. Download Volunteer Waiver here.
