Athletes may row 4702 meters on their own body of water any time between October 9th and October 16th. The ability to submit your score will not open until this week.

Using any device that tracks GPS and can export a .gpx file, athletes will record their piece and upload their .gpx file to Time-Team. Do not worry about submitting exactly 4702m; Time-Team will automatically take the fastest consecutive 4702m from your piece for the results page. Results will be displayed both on the Time-Team website and RegattaCentral.

Detailed instructions on how to retrieve your results and how to upload to Time-Team will be posted to our website in mid-September.

To register, head to RegattaCentral and select your event. Select your boat class on the registration form under “Divisions”. Athletes may row the course in a single, double, pair, four, quad, or eight. Athletes may also aggregate their scores with four other friends in singles to create a team of five.

While you may register as early as September 1st, the race and submission period is October 9th through October 16th. Late submissions will not be accepted after October 16th.

Please be sure to reference the Rules & Guidelines page for safety guidelines when rowing without race officials.

Participatory On-Water donation is $15. 100% of proceeds collected from the Global Remote Event will be put toward the HOCR x Gold Cup Grant Fund. You can read more about the grant fund here.

Athletes may row 4702 meters on any rowing machine that tracks distance and speed any time between October 9th and October 16th. The ability to submit your score will not open until this week.

Participants will have the week to row their fastest piece and upload their time to RegattaCentral. No additional equipment is needed outside of a rowing machine and access to a computer to upload your time. Please be sure to register for the event in which you will submit your score. Results will be sorted in a leaderboard with an option of viewing what type of machine was used by each participant.

Please note that while you may register as early as September 1st, the race and submission period is October 9th through October 16th. Late submissions will not be accepted after October 16th.

Participatory Erg donation is $15. 100% of proceeds collected from the Global Remote Event will be put toward the HOCR x Gold Cup Grant Fund. You can read more about the grant fund here.
